For two whole days last week, we had full days of blue skies and 65+ temps, which were the first two days without precipitation since July 2nd! This summer has been the rainiest summer in 80 years for Juneau and SE Alaska — how’s that for my timing?! There has already been new snow on top of some of the surrounding mountains, so locals are saying we’ve had our 2-day summer and we’re working our way into a rainy autumn.

I, of course, had to document the glorious days sans rain:

…and then today it was again 58 and rainy.

Silly Alaska rain can’t ruin my parade.
